Northern California Practical Shooters This match was a reminder that performance isn’t measured when everything goes according to plan—it’s measured by how you respond when things don’t. Throughout six stages I battled four firearm malfunctions consisting of failures to extract and what appear to be light primer strikes. While I’m still diagnosing the exact cause, the equipment issues created unexpected challenges that required staying mentally engaged and continuing to execute one shot at a time.
