The last 12 months of stage scores on The Record, per 100 stage runs:
| Division | Misses | No-shoots | Procedurals | A hits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Limited | 94 | 13.6 | 10.1 | 71.6% |
| Production | 66 | 12.8 | 5.8 | 74.6% |
| Carry Optics | 55 | 11.3 | 8.5 | 76.4% |
| Limited Optics | 52 | 10.4 | 8.0 | 76.1% |
| Open | 51 | 10.2 | 7.0 | 75.4% |
| PCC | 38 | 8.7 | 8.8 | 79.6% |
What stands out
- A miss is a 10-point penalty on top of the points the hit would have scored. At roughly one miss every two stages, it is the biggest single leak in every division.
- The iron-sight divisions miss the most.
- PCC misses the least, yet collects procedurals as often as anyone. The carbine seems to fix the shooting more than the stage plan.
What does your practice go after: the hits, or the movement that causes procedurals?
