AREA 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE CANCELED

USPSA Area 3 Director September 30, 2001 I am very disappointed to announce that because of the low number of entries received for the Area 3 Championship Match, the match will have to be canceled. There are certain fixed costs associated with conducting a major match. Targets, pasters and supplies have to be purchased, there are match pins, shirts, printing of match booklets and scoresheets, Range Officer's and other staff have to be housed, trophies have to be purchased, etc. The break-even point for these fixed costs requires a minimum of 110 shooters to enter the match.
