| Competition Categories Some thoughts about equipment rules by Andy Hollar Open, Limited and Modified are the primary categories of competition recognized by USPSA. The three categories seem to me to suit three approaches to the sport, but there isn't necessarily wide agreement. Why do we have these categories, and what are the basic ideas behind them?
