You average is the highest 6 of the most recent 8 classifiers, however, you need to be aware of the following details on how the system is administered: - If you are already classified, the "classification run" is done by USPSA once at the end of each quarter. The "best 6 of the most recent 8 classifiers on record at that time" are used to determine your average in both open and limited. It is not a "sliding window" - your average will not be the highest obtainable by counting the highest 6 of any sequence of 8 classifiers, but be based only on the last 8 on file.
