2016 Area 2 USPSA Championship - Rio Salado Desert Classic - Andrew - Limited Grand Master
The 2016 Area 2 championship match was deceptively challenging. At first glance it looks easy and straight forward, but the stages suck you in with partial target traps and unique activation sequences for movers. Many competitors ended up with mikes and no-shoots after taking the stages for granted. Our first day (stages 4-9) I ended up getting very dehydrated and couldn't focus or grip the gun leaving me with slow times and horrible hits. Day 2 and 3 went much better for me and I was able to salvage the match as best I could. Landing 8th Limited Grand Master out of 15 in my first major match
