Full Version: Tuning springs to steel loads...... I am about ready to give up! I have a 132 PF load with 115jhps in 9x19 in my Steel Gun(5in bbl. with 2port TI comp-cone comp) that is giving me fits. I ran a 10lb ISMI spring with it today, ran like a top, Brass 2-3ft away in little pile. Perfect . After 400 rds the guide rod head is smacking into the link front area, which peened it. I had to pop out the link and take away the rough edges. The guide rod head is radiused(EGW tungsten). My questions are 1) start with a spring that I know wont function the gun (12 wont, 11 will) and cl
