Moving the eyes ahead of the gun
DRamsey May 15 2004, 05:41 PM I am a C class shooter and I am working on improving. I have recently become aware that I have been following or chasing the sights from one target to the next. Larry Brown, a GM in my area, has proven to me that it is faster to move the eyes first then bring the gun (sights) to that spot. Is there a best way to practice this? I have been Practicing this as part of my dry fire routine, but it is difficult to break the old habit and it "feels" slow. How do you practice seeing the next shot and ignoring the gun as it moves, transitions, or acquires the
