The Jentra sold by NDZ performance is the heaviest guide rod on the market that I am aware of. It would be legal in USPSA Carry Optics and now Production division. It changes the balance of the gun making it more muzzle heavy and it does smooth out the recoil impulse. It's not just marketing hype - i can recommend it.
