4.1 Targets – General Principles — USPSA Online Rules
4.1.1 p. 21 Share Only targets listed in Appendices B may be used for USPSA Rifle, Shotgun, or Multigun matches. Only official, USPSA-licensed cardboard targets may be used. 4.1.2 p. 21 Share Scoring targets used in all USPSA Rifle, Shotgun, or Multigun matches must be of a single color, as follows: 4.1.2.1 p. 21 Share The scoring area of scoring cardboard targets must be of a brown or tan cardboard color, except where the Range Master deems that a lack of contrast with the surrounding area or background necessitates that a different color be used.
