The Brian Dawson "Only Shoot Open" Benefit Match presented by D2 Customs

We are excited to announce the start of a new annual charity match in honor of our good friend and fellow shooter Brian Dawson!

Brian was a great advocate for the sport, a diehard open shooter, a boon to any squad he was on, a traveling CRO, an anchor in his community, many families’ veterinarian, a retired “rock guy”, and a huge resource for wildlife rehabilitation in Northern Michigan.

100% of match entry fees will go to Brian’s charity of choice - ARK, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation association here in Michigan. https://www.arkritters.org/

This match will be a little different! We want to honor Brian's legacy, have a blast, help a great cause, and put on a match you're excited to come back to. Here are the details:

• Single day match, minimum of 10 stages, about 300 rounds
• Staff and some competitors shoot together Saturday
• Competitors shoot Sunday with dedicated staff
• No break for lunch, we push through
• No walking stages, the designs will be posted and we'll post video walkthroughs

And the big one

- Everyone is shooting open! Brian was an open shooter and we think it's fun to have everyone compete in the same division. Absolutely bring whatever gear you want (as long as it fits the open division regulations) and don't think it has to be an actual open gun. There will be no chronograph stage.
