From the match director
Annual shotgun/pistol match. Alternate pistol targets for any clay fliers that can't be shot with pistol. This is a time plus match. All divisions scored minor. 20-25 shots per stage. Shotgun divisions: plan on mostly birdshot with 5 -10 slugs and buckshot.This match will be all steel or clay targets a lot of arrays/targets that you won't see at your typical pistol match. No limits on magazines/tubes in any division. Shotgun : birdshot target type loads only but bring slugs and buchshot.
SCHEDULE
7:30-8:00 Range opens come early and help finish setup staple targets, get everything ready for the match.Also walk the stages and if needed function fire with an r.o.
8:30 NEW SHOOTERS brief mandatory for all new shooters will be held in the cemetery bay.Prior to the match new shooters must also also read the SLPSA New Shooter Help Webpage at https://SLPSA.org/new-shooter-help-
9:00 ALL SHOOTERS meeting is mandatory
9 :15 squads go to stages - first shots
2:00-3:00 finish match break down stages and put everything away.Everyone must help teardown.
