November 2026 IDPA match hosted by Mecklenburg Defensive Shooters

-IDPA Match at Mecklenburg Wildlife Club
-Per IDPA Directive: NO SIG P320/M17/M18 Firearms Permitted
-Pay $20 cash on site. No Credit cards
-MAIN GATE CLOSES AT 9:45am
-COMPETITORS MUST CHECK IN WITH STAFF BEFORE 9:45am
-New shooter briefing at 9:45am.
-All Shooter briefing at 9:55am
-Match starts at 10:00am.
-All participants are expected to assist with teardown; which goes REALLY fast when everyone helps! In addition, we utilize a SXS and trailer to move most of the equipment back to the storage area. Club gate will open for departure when teardown is complete.

MWC specific rules

It's a cold range. Muzzle up is not safe due to commercial air traffic.

If you wish to download and print the waiver; you may fill it in and bring it to the match BUT IT MUST BE SIGNED IN THE PRESENCE OF MATCH STAFF DURING CHECK IN THE MORNING OF THE MATCH. Regular MDS shooters will have a waiver in our notebook; just re-sign and date for each match.

DIRECTIONS ONCE ON MWC PROPERTY

After entering the gate, follow the access road down to, and around the lake, over the dam and past the rifle range and to the pistol bays that are located behind the rifle range back stop. Please check in with match staff in the 'Conex Office' near the pistol bays BEFORE 9:45 am.
