WHAT IS THIS?

Shoot GTR Night Mini-Matches are nighttime matches held after sunset from approximately 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The safety brief will generally begin around sunset, approximately 5:30-5:45 PM, with first shots around 6:00 PM or whenever it is sufficiently dark to require the use of lights.

Due to the additional challenges and safety considerations involved with shooting at night, this match is not recommended for beginners.

Every shooter must have an appropriate light source for shooting, either a weapon-mounted light or headlamp as permitted by their division. Every shooter must also have a personal light source for loading magazines, resetting targets, and safely moving around the range between stages.

We highly recommend bringing both a headlamp and a weapon-mounted light.

WHAT FIREARMS MAY I SHOOT?

Any pistol-caliber handgun or pistol-caliber carbine is welcome. Most shooters use 9mm, but other common pistol calibers such as .380 ACP, .38 Special, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP are also permitted.

Rifle calibers such as .223/5.56, .300 BLK, including subsonic .300 BLK, and similar rifle cartridges are not allowed.

Shooters must have either a headlamp or weapon-mounted light suitable for safely shooting the match.

Table starts will be permitted for shooters who do not yet own a light-bearing holster.
