Cameo - The UHRC Invitational, 2027

The Ultimate Hunter Rifle Competition (UHRC) is a dynamic, timed, hunting-based sport that focuses on using gear people frequently hunt with to hone skills crucial in real-life hunting situations. Speed and first-round accuracy both help your score, and this sport is truly a test of your ability to quickly build solid improvised shooting positions in natural terrain.

The 2027 UHRC Invitational is now open for registration!

Guaranteed Payout Money Prizes, Last year over $20,000 was paid out to shooters!

As sponsor contributions grow, so will the cash amounts and the distance we pay down in the match standings!

• Just like last year, the payout pot will start at $10,000!
• 1st place: $5,000
• 2nd place: $3,000
• 3rd place: $1,500
• 4th place: $500
• Match capacity: 70 (10 squads of 7 people)
• Sight-in day: 03/12/2027
• Match Date: 03/13/2026 (followed by awards)

Stage Format

•Engage three 17x17” diamonds per stage, from 100-500 yards.
•Three minute par-time for each stage.
•Acquire, range, & engage on the clock (blind stages).
•Must shoot near-to-far and hit to advance.
•Targets increase in value with distance, but lose value with each miss.
•SCORE=stage points/stage time; aka “hit-factor” scoring.
(Both speed AND accuracy matter)

Gear Rules

•Big game division: over 6mm, 13lb. weight limit, 3,200 fps. velocity limit using only cartridges on approved list from UHRC rulebook. •Varmint division: 22 through 6mm/243, 10lb. weight limit, 3,300 fps. velocity limit using only cartridges on approved list from UHRC rulebook. •Tripods may not be used to assist in building a position. •Bags which don’t serve a primary function aside from being used as a shooting rest are disallowed. •Range-finding scopes or rangefinders mounted to the firearm are not allowed. •Suppressors are not allowed for score due to timer inconsistency.
