West Houston Shooters Club

West Houston Shooters Club was established to promote safe and efficient use of guns and equipment suitable for self-defense and provide opportunities to practice safely in a sporting atmosphere.

In furtherance of our mission, the Club holds year round matches in multiple shooting disciplines, at multiple locations. Our current match schedule includes International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), and Multigun, as well as our own homegrown defensive shooting practice matches. Click the Shooting Programs button below for more information.

The Club is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization. Programs are member-driven and volunteer-supported. The depth and quality of events absolutely depend on the individuals willing to take up the tasks of Match Directors, Match Administrators, setting up, tearing down, putting away, and maintaining our inventory of props, equipment, and facilities.
