SAPSA is the national association supporting practical shooting competition, affiliated clubs and competitors throughout South Africa.

Equipment divisions and scoring recognise the demands of practical competition.
Efficient movement and confident execution turn a course plan into a result.
Safety is absolute, taught at club level and enforced throughout every match.
SAPSA provides the national framework for practical shooting in South Africa. The association supports governance, competition standards, national events, team selection and the clubs where competitors begin their journey.
Practical shooting is a dynamic sport. Courses of fire change from match to match, asking competitors to make decisions, move safely and deliver accurate shots against the clock.
The South African Practical Shooting Association (SAPSA) is the governing body of practical shooting in South Africa and was founded in 1976. We are affiliated to the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) which has approximately 100 member countries. There are active clubs situated all over South Africa and matches are held throughout the year. SAPSA is an accredited shooting organisation and also regularly selects National Teams to compete internationally, for which National Colours are awarded.
