Following the Special General Meeting of the Club in August 2026, changes to the club's administration going forward were approved. Those changes resulted in consequential amendments to the previously adopted constitution.
The changes principally related to the roles of the Officers of the club, which saw the number of Officers (the Committee) reduced from 11 to 5 persons. In addition, the term of the Officers was increased from 1 year to 3 years to provide continuity in experience and management of the club.
At the same time, a number of minor corrections were made to the constitution for detected typographical errors and editorial comments that had inadvertently been left in the original document.
The link on this page marked "2026 Club Constitution" incorporates all of the above. Members will be asked to vote on this constitution at the September 2026 Annual General Meeting.
The Rifle Rod and Gun Club, (Manawatu) Inc, is a multi-dicipline shooting sports club based in the Turitea Valley near Palmerston North, New Zealand.
