Mid Carolina Rifle Club (MCRC) is a private, non-profit, membership shooting club that was established in 1973 by several prominent businessmen from Columbia. Originally formed as a bench rest rifle club with only a few members and one range, it has steadily grown to 15 ranges. MCRC members enjoy a variety of shooting opportunities for rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Members have range access 365 days a year from 9 a.m. to 1/2 hour after legal sunset or 9 p.m. whichever is earlier.

When they join MCRC, nearly every new member tells us they want a safe place to shoot. As responsible gun owners, we realize safety is a MUST. Thats why we require all our members to attend a new member orientation. At MCRC with everyone knowing the same rules, you dont have to worry about who is next to you at some public range. Many members come to the range to teach safe gun handling skills to their children and grandchildren. Our range is also a place where families can come together, spanning generations, to hand down traditions of marksmanship, hunting, sportsmanship and defensive gun ownership. We are proud to be a facility that offers a household membership.
