Mason Dixon Rifle Club

This is a reminder while piggybacking through the gate is acceptable, you should try to limit it to when you have a guest with you in a separate vehicle. As a courtesy, if you are behind another member that you aren't meeting at the club, swipe your badge, so there is a record of both entries. If someone unknown to you, piggybacks you through the gate, you may ask to see their club ID and ask they swipe their card. But please do it in a polite manner. We are part of a community of firearms owners, and we need to strive to make a good impression both in and outside of our community.

It has become apparent that some members are not abiding by the restrictions set forth in the Range Rules.  Those rules will soon be updated on the website. Each range has limitations for the types of firearms that can be used. Signage will be posted at all ranges to indicate the limitations.

The swinging silhouette target on the Bullseye Range was shot multiple times with a 30 caliber as evidenced by the holes.  This is in violation of two rules.  Shooting steel inside 100 yds and intentionally damaging club property.

Additionally, someone has shot one of the rimfire silhouettes on the Rimfire Range.  This is in violation of two rules.  Using firearms not permitted for that range and intentionally damaging club property.
